This morning we are heading out to Starbucks for a latte and a muffin for breakfast. We then plan to catch a cab to the Botannical Gardens for a few hours. I am not too interested in the gardens but apparently there are lots of monkeys and I miss the chimps back home.
After the gardens we are taking a cab to Ferenghi beach. I have this vision of little folks with big eyebrows running around trying to sell you something. (STNG). Shelley wants to check out the hotels along the beach as she may want to switch hotels to be on the beach. However, for me to switch there must be very good internet and a Starbucks nearby.
We really have to stop going out in the noon day heat. It is much more pleasant in the morning and late afternoon. My favourite time is 6 pm to 8 pm. We had a lovely snack on a terrace cafe last night watching the sun go down as we sipped lattes. There are no mosquitos here as they aggressively spray to prevent malaria and dengue fever.
Hopefully we will have some monkey pics by this evening.
