Brent and Jeanine Wilson arrive from Canada in 9 days. They have one day to acclimatize and then we are off to Cambodia. They figured they might as well jump right into South East Asia and it will definitely be a shock for them. Cambodia is far down the east Asian world in modernization. It will be fun to watch them wilt under the heat and culture shock. :-)
We start off in Phnom Penh (killing fields) and then Siem Reap (Angkhor Wat). According to Jaime, Cambodia is definitely unlike Malasia, Thailand, and Singapore. I was thinking more like Bali, but with fewer people. I am anxious to see how Brent handles the culture shock. I am looking forward to having a 'drinking' partner as none of the TGIF crowd has come to visit me (yet, still hoping).
TTYL,
Jim
