We arrived in Bangkok about 4 pm and immediately went to our hotel where we met up with Jill and John McGrath. We then jumped on the subway and travelled to the tailors where Jordan and I were measured for a tux, a suit, and a sports jacket, pants, and shirts. We go back for a fitting today, Saturday at 6 pm. Speaking of Saturday, today was bittersweet as we watched Jaime, pack up and leave for Canada. After 4 monthd away from her friends and Canada she was very excited to be heaqding home. However, we will miss her company dearly as she was a delight to have with us for the past 2 months.
John is coming to meet Jordan and I at 11 pm and we are heading out to a hitech mall that has great bargains. Jaime and Jordan went to a similar mall in Singapore and enjoyed seeing the latest tech goods that arrive in Canada, a year later.
We ended up at the Night market last night and consumed a couple of beer towers (Tiger beer). There as a live band, great food, and lots of people. Highly recommended.
Jordan just showered and we are heading down to our breakfast buffet.
