Shelley and I looked at another condo in the adjacent tower (same complex) and quite like it. It is a 2 bedroom but is quite large with 3 bathrooms. It has working aircons (2 horsepower rather than our measly 1.5's) and upgraded amenities such as a large LCD television. We will put in an offer for it. If you are planning on visiting us, not to worry, still lots of room at almost 2,000 square feet. It also rents for $2,500 ringitts a months so we save $800 ringitts a month which effectively pays for 2 return airfares to anywhere in South East Asia every month. That's an extra 12 weekend trips per year :-)
This is a 'down' weekend for us and we are just lazing around. Later on when it cools down I plan on walking to the mall in search of a book to read. Hopefully, Shelley will come for the walk. Next weekend is the Broadway musical and that goes Friday night, Saturday matinee and Saturday night so there will be lots of stress. The artsy types seem to strive on the stress but I have observed they do not handle it well. Must be a love/hate kind of thing.
Jordan finished up his exams yesterday so here's hoping things went well. He has a week off and then heads off to Australia with about 15 other TWU students so it should be a lot of fun. Shelley and I are planning to visit Australia in September. Air Asia has a special on and will fly us there for $289 ringgits one way. That is about $90 for an 8 hour flight. Hear that Air Canada? Somebody is turning 60 in September and we thought we would celebrate by traveling to Australia for a week. Jaime loved it and highly recommends it.
