It's official now, the vacation is over, and I have to teach for a living. It's 8 am and I am in the lab and have a grande Starbucks to keep me company. My first class arrives at 10:30 am and it begins. I meet with the head IT guy to talk about getting some software installed in the lab. The printer is also locked up in a box and I don't have a key so I don't know how to go about adding paper. The previous teacher also mentioned that my workstation can't print to the printer. I can only assume it is on a different vlan. For you non techies it means you can't get there from here.
I put together a powerpoint but I think I will steal from Shelley's as she has some photos which are good, such as our record snowfall from 2 years ago.
Taylor's is really big on paper forms. I really must get around to filling them out at some point but I am amazed at the number of them as well as the redundancy factor. I guess the various departments do not share information.
This is just a short post as I have to prep for class.
TTYL,
Jim
