The Haze

The haze is quite bad today. It appears the Indonnesian's are bent on burning down their tropical rain forests much like Brazil. It seems they deplete the soil they are planting on and then reclaim more forest and then deplete and then again. Eventually they will turn the island into a desert. I suppose there is more to it than that, and it's a choice between burning and starving. As I find out more I will keep you informed.

Today's lesson are going great despite the greater numbers in my classes. I am getting a better handle on how fast I can go. Students are as cheerful as ever.
