Siem Reap Tomorrow

Well we visited S21 and the Killing Fields and I decided the Khmer Rouge were definitely bad dudes. The leaders all seemed to get their wacko ideas while attending university in Paris and signing up with the Communist party.  The Vietnam war did not help much as it pushed the Viet Cong into Cambodia where they influenced the Khmer Rouge to some extent with how to fight guerrilla warfare. It's amazing that these types of genocide seem to keep happening every 20 years or so. The count on this one is about 2 million men, women, and children. I have some pictures but I may not put them up.

We had dinner at the Pink Elephant by the river and then had a dip in the pool.  Brent and I then spent about 3 hours working on some software changes and then we just decided to veg out and call it a day. Tomorrow we are up at 5 am and head to the airport to fly Vietnam Airline to Siem Reap.  Brent and Jeanine have tickets but Shelley and I don't.  There are 5 flights a day so we should eventually get there.  We do however, have a hotel.

That's about it,

TTYL,

Jim
