Downpour in Subang

We woke up this morning with a dull roar in the background.  It turns out that was the drumming of the rain on the windows of the condo.  It's not often that we get rain in the morning as it invariably rains in the late afternoon for about 30 minutes.  It is getting to be the tail end of the rainy season here so I would guess we can expect some different weather patterns.

Brent and Jeanine are on their way to KL.  They left this morning and fly to Vancouver, then Hong Kong where they overnight, and then KL.  They are then going to catch a cab from KL to our place.  They should be ready to take on some activities as they had some sleep in Hong Kong. I am starting to put together an agenda for them as Shelley and I teach the first 4 days they are here.  I am thinking Petronas towers and China town for a day. The KL zoo and acquarium for a day.  Batu Caves and the bird sanctuary or perhaps the butterfly place (not sure what it is called). Of course they have to come watch a class or two at Taylors and visit the principal.

We head out Thursday to Cambodia which should be quite an adventure for all of us.  I must remember to get some US cash and photos (passport size) for our entrance visa.  You pay on the way in and the way out!

We are quite looking at having someone our own age stay with us for a a while.  I am trying to convince Brent to come back for a couple of weeks after their China tour as there is so much to see in this immediate area such as Bangkok and Singapore, not to mention much more of Malaysia.

TTYL,

Jim
