Teaching What Where?

Shelley and I will be teaching what is basically a qualifying year for Malaysian high school graduates who hope to study abroad, mainly in North America. The students enrol for 2 semesters, taking three courses each semester and graduate with an OSSD (Ontario Secondary School Diploma). This diploma gets them into universities such as Harvard, McGill, University of Toronto, Carleton, etc.

I will be teaching 2 sections of Computer and Information Science and 1 section of Mathematics of data Management. Shelley has 3 sections of Challenge and Change in Society.

We are teaching at Taylor's University College, main campus in Subang Jaya, in Selangor which I think is a suburb of Kuala Lumpur. The daily temperature in Kuala Lumpur is 29 degrees everday. That is the good news. The bad news is that it rains every day, although not for very long. We shall see :-)
